June 2009: I've changed the contact email for me throughout
the website. It is now, and likely will remain srr.guy@gmail.com
I did this because of spam from the internet. Even bounced
emails were using up disk space provided by my web host and
twice it got to the point where I was going over my quota.
Also, should I ever have to find my own hosting, I won't have
to change my email links.

September 2008: Something to look forward to. I've decided
to create a book about the Sussex Branch stations plus any
bones that are still laying about. I believe this will cover
an area left partly untouched by previous efforts. This book
will be printed via CafePress and will be feature the black
and white photography plus some postcard views and after shots.
It will have a history of each station and probably some more
interesting bits, including some maps. No idea on the price
as it's figured from the size and page count. I hope to have
this book ready for purchase by December 2009. Stay tuned.

June 2008:
I am
in process of publishing my four railroad short stories in
a bound book. You will notice that online
they are now only available as excerpts. Additionally, I'm
currently wrinting a fifth, previously unseen story which
will be included in the book. If you want to see an announcement
of when the book becomes available, please join my Sussex
Branch email group.

April 2007:
I've
decided to move the Trail Guide to a wiki so that trail users
wiould be able to update the trail conditions, etc. It'll
be a slow process moving it over. The Trail wiki is here:

February 2007: Let's Play Identify the Bridge!
I recently
was given some scans of bridges definitely on the Sussex Branch
of the Lackawanna. These photos were included in the Interstate
Commerce Commission reports which were made up around WWI
to assess the value of the railroads. A few of these are easy
and many of them are hard (or VERY hard) to identify without
the reports. I know where these bridges are/were. Do you?

February 2006: I've
reinstated my 'Reviews'
page for print and video media which includes Sussex Branch
material.
9
June 2005: I've
added a map
from 1930 which shows the station site at Cranberry
Lake..
25
January 2005: I've
added drawings of the Netcong
freight station and the Augusta
Passenger station to the modeling section of my website.
5
January 2005: I've
added a few new images on the Waterloo
Station page.

September 2004:
Last Train to Branchville:
This is a handout from the Railroadians of America on the
occasion of the 'Last Train to Branchville' trip on July 9,
1966. Need I mention that this was actually the NEXT TO LAST
day of service to Branchville?

September 2004: I've
placed a NEW Franklin
Station image on the site. This is the first image
I've seen of the Franklin station in its later years.
You
will notice a refinement of the format creeping into the site.
I apologize that it took so long, but I swear, the site looked
just fine in Netscape on my Mac. It wasn't until I looked
at it from work, that I noticed it needed improvement. Thanks
also to Ron Rice for bringing the problem to my attention
in the Map Progressions
section.
