Call
to Action Regarding the Sussex Branch Trail
There is a severe
washout
on the Sussex Branch Trail which if not repaired will ruin the opportunity
for hikers to reach Branchville on the trail. I urge anyone who wants
to help get this breach in the trail mended to mail a letter to the
appropriate address (see below.)
Please
help keep the Sussex Branch Trail continuous!
It would be a shame
to let it start breaking up after they put in all those nice bridges
in 1999!
Your letter should
include the fact that the Sussex Branch Trail is a linear State Park,
administered by Kittatinny Valley State Park, and a request for funding
to repair the trail.
It is also requested
