Railway Milk Cars Vol. 4 (DL&W Milk Cars Part 2) by Robert R. Bahrs

This latest addition to milk train fans libraries is a treat to the eyes as well as the mind. Bob Bahrs continues to add to the knowledge bank of the world at large with this 48 page book.

Gracing the front and back covers are color photos of milk trains which likely were headed to Branchville. Within the covers are about 28 photos from the Sussex Branch and at least 10 shots of milk trains which were either headed to or coming from the Branch.

Rounding this out are several images of Employee time tables for milk traffic on the Branch plus some great information. A discussion of general milk traffic to Branchville and a look at the paper/milk train which was featured in Railpace back in the 1980s.

All in all this is a great book and I look forward to volume 5 (stated to be mostly about the Becker & Sons Creamery)
